FROM SPRC/PPRC CHAIR ANNOUNCING THE APPOINTMENT & REAPPOINTMENT OF A NEW PASTOR:

Dear Members and Friends of Kingston United Methodist Church and Cass City United Methodist Church:
As Chairpersons of the Staff Parish Relations Committee, Kingston United Methodist Church, and Cass City United Methodist Church, we wish to announce to you the appointment of Rev. Robert Paul Demyanovich, our new pastor effective July 1, 2022.
Pastor Bob, was introduced to our Staff Parish Relations Committee by our District Superintendent Rev. John G Kasper, on behalf of Bishop David Bard, who set this reappointment and new appointment. We are excited about the spirit, gifts, and abilities that Pastor Robert will be bringing to our congregation.
We will be planning a warm welcome for Pastor Robert after his arrival in July when we will begin our shared ministry under his leadership. In the meantime, of course, we will also be celebrating the ministry of Pastor Mark to thank him for his years of faithful service as we pray for God’s blessing upon his future.
We are also grateful to have Pastor Robert Paul Demyanovich continue here at Cass City United Methodist Church and continue to lead our congregation forward after Covid-19 and into the upcoming General Conference in 2024. We thank him for his continued leadership.
We are so pleased to make this announcement to you and know that you will enjoy meeting Pastor Robert Paul Demyanovich. Please hold him in prayer during these months of transition. Pray, too, for the whole Cabinet, District Superintendent John Kasper, including Bishop David Bard, as they continue to meet, pray, and discern God’s will in the appointment-making process.
Trusting God’s amazing grace, Christ’s faithful love, and the presence and power of the Holy Spirit as we move into the future.
